Our Dogs

We have two Weimaraners called Molly and Sunny. Molly is five years old in October, and we have had her since she was 12 weeks. Molly has in her line very many champions and show champions. Two of the most famous are Kentoo Benjamin SH CH and Kisdon's Derring - Do SH CH. Other notable dogs in her line include Varstock Vicereine of Aquila SH CH, and Hansom Brandyman of Gunalt SH CH. She is a beautiful family dog who is at her happiest by our side, joining in everything that we do.

In 1998, we looked around for a dog, after deciding we wanted another Weimy. Molly has such a wonderful temperament, she is so loving, and fun to be with, that in the end, we decided to have a litter and choose a dog right from the moment he was born.

This was when the hard work began. We scoured the country looking for a perfect sire for our girl. Eventually, we found Donald (Gunalt Excess SH CH from Flimmoric Fanclub SH CH and Gunalt Eternity) in Leeds. After speaking to Patsy and Steven, and observing the dog, we were sure that he complemented her nature. Molly did tend to be a little nervous at times, Donald was the true fearless and brave Weim!

The necessary arrangements were made and several months later Molly whelped a litter of 9 pups, five dogs and four bitches. It was a textbook whelping, and she proved to be an excellent brood bitch. We found 8 perfect families for our pups, and right up until the end we couldn't choose which one we would keep. We loved them all! and each day a different one stood out from the rest. We were left with two dogs, Mr Grey and Mr Tartan, and my husband chose Mr Grey.

Mr Grey became Sunny! who is now a 20 month old gorgeous beast whom we all love very much. He has been a pain at times, Weims need firmness, love and patience. But he has grown to be a very well trained dog who is fearless, brave, friendly, loyal and all the other things that you come to expect out of a Weimaraner.
